Frequently Asked Questions

Orders and Purchasing

Q: Can I cancel my order?
Yes. Orders can be cancelled any time before they ship. Once an order has shipped, it falls under our Return Policy.

Q: Do you offer preorders or backorders?
Yes. Some watches may be sold as preorder, limited release, or backorder items. Lead times are estimates and may change depending on production and supply chain timelines.

Q: Do you restock limited edition watches?
No. Limited edition watches are typically produced in one run and may not be restocked once sold out.

Shipping

Q: Where do you ship?
We primarily ship within the United States. International shipping may be available on a case-by-case basis and we plan to expand international shipping as demand grows.

Q: How long will shipping take?
Shipping time depends on whether the watch is in stock, on preorder, or backordered. Estimated lead times are typically one week but are not guaranteed.

Q: What if my package is lost?
All shipments are insured. If a package is lost in transit, we will replace or refund the order once the shipping carrier confirms the package is lost.

Q: What if my package says delivered, but I didn’t receive it?
Once a package is marked delivered by the carrier, it is considered delivered. Customers are responsible for ensuring the shipping location is secure.

Returns

Q: Can I return my watch if I don’t like it?
Yes. Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery as long as the watch is in new condition and the protective tape is still attached.

Q: What if I wore the watch but want to return it?
Returns are intended for watches in new, unused condition. Watches that show signs of wear may not qualify for return. In some cases, at Valcore’s discretion, a lightly worn watch that is still fully functional and resellable may be accepted for return; however, a fee may be deducted from the refund to cover inspection, processing, and resale costs.

Q: Do I have to pay return shipping?
Yes, customers are responsible for return shipping.

Warranty and Repairs

Q: What warranty do the watches have?
All Valcore watches include a one-year warranty covering manufacturing defects and movement issues under normal use.

Q: Does the warranty follow the watch or the owner?
The warranty follows the watch, but proof of original purchase (receipt) is required to determine the warranty period.

Q: What does the warranty not cover?
The warranty does not cover damage from impacts, misuse, water misuse, modifications, unauthorized repairs, normal wear, scratches, or strap wear.

Q: What if my watch breaks outside warranty?
We will still repair watches when possible. Repairs outside warranty are charged at cost for parts and labor.

Q: Can my local watchmaker service the watch?
Yes, but you must contact Valcore before any work is performed, and the watchmaker must be approved by Valcore.

Mechanical Watches

Q: How accurate are mechanical watches?
Mechanical watches are precision instruments but are not perfectly accurate. Accuracy depends on the movement and environmental conditions. Watches are considered operating properly if they are within the movement manufacturer’s stated tolerances.

Q: Are Valcore watches waterproof?
Water resistance ratings are listed on the watch case and dial. Water resistance can be affected by impacts, worn gaskets, improper crown use, and opening the watch case.

General Questions

Q: Why Valcore Tool Watches?
Valcore watches are designed as tool watches — built to be functional, durable, and reliable for everyday use, field work, and demanding environments.

Q: Do you sell returned watches as new?
Watches returned in new, unused condition may be returned to regular inventory. Watches that have been lightly worn but remain fully functional may be sold separately as returned or discounted items and will be clearly identified as such.
