Warranty Policy – Valcore Tool Watches
Our Warranty Philosophy
Valcore Tool Watches are designed and built as tool watches. They are made to be used in the field, on the job, and in everyday life, and they are built to stand up to hard use. Because of that, we stand behind our watches and the way they are built.
That being said, a watch is still a precision mechanical instrument. Like any precision tool, it must be used properly and reasonably cared for in order to perform as intended.
Warranty Coverage
Every Valcore Tool Watch includes a one-year warranty covering manufacturing defects and movement failure under normal use.
The warranty follows the watch, not the original purchaser; however, proof of the original purchase date (receipt) is required to determine whether the watch is still within the warranty period.
Valcore guarantees that the movement will operate within the movement manufacturer’s stated accuracy tolerances under normal operating conditions.
Warranty decisions are made on a case-by-case basis at Valcore’s discretion.
What the Warranty Covers
The warranty covers manufacturing defects and mechanical issues that occur under normal use, including:
Movement failure
Movement operating outside manufacturer tolerances
Crown or stem issues
Hand or dial defects
Case or assembly defects
Manufacturing or assembly issues
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
Impacts or dropping the watch
Improper crown operation
Water damage from misuse
Opening the watch case
Modifications or unauthorized repairs
Chemical exposure
Extreme temperatures
Magnetism
Normal wear and tear
Scratches or cosmetic wear
Strap wear or damage
Damage caused by misuse, unusual events, or improper handling is not considered a manufacturing defect.
Repairs Outside Warranty
If a watch is damaged outside of warranty coverage, Valcore will still service the watch when possible. Repairs outside warranty are charged at cost for parts and labor, with no additional service markup.
Customers are responsible for shipping costs for all non-warranty repairs and service.
Service and Repairs
Warranty repairs must be approved by Valcore before the watch is shipped for service. Valcore may request photos or additional information before approving a warranty claim.
If a watch is serviced, opened, or repaired by someone other than Valcore, the customer must contact Valcore before any work is performed for approval. Any work performed must be completed by a Valcore-approved horologist or watchmaker. Unauthorized service or improper repair work may void the warranty.
Customers are responsible for shipping costs when sending watches in for service or repair.

Valcore Tool Watches reserves the right to repair, replace, or provide store credit for warranty claims at its discretion.
